Time to stop eating rice.

I'm not too used to eating foreign food but I generally like white rice. Now I think I'm going to have to stop eating at The taco trucks:

My guess is they cooked it wrong. Noobs. Don't let the dot-heads scare you off of real American fried rice which has ingredients like fried chicken, ham, hot dogs, raisins, ketchup, croutons and pinapple. Sooooo tasty! I order mine rawdog from the local chink place twice a week. Raw meat hotdogs maximize the protein and get you jacked.

I was bemused to see in the BBC link that the food was actually stinking. Throw it away? OR. eat it vomit and drop dead. With the possibility of writhing in agony. Hmmmmm, difficult choice. But I'm highlighting something else.

We know what special events can involve when idols are set up and the demons get active. Could it be that even putrid rice seemed OK for some participants compared with other ceremonies going on? Here is a short clip. The brown stuff is ox manure combined with (of all things) peacock feathers so that's cholera and bird flu to go with the demon possession. Yes, even stinking rice could smell good enough to eat.

Re: Time to stop eating rice.

When I read that news item, the first thing that sprang to mind was

M't:15:1: Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
M't:15:2: Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
M't:15:3: But he answered and said unto them,
[...]
M't:15:8: This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
M't:15:9: But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
M't:15:10: And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
M't:15:11: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
[...]
M't:15:17: Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
M't:15:18: But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

And so it is with the heathen. Their vainglorious worship of idols is an abomination unto the Lord and He has taken this opportunity to coruscate their bowels, such that "casting out in the draught" applies to every orifice of their vile bodies.

Yet, I hear you say, "Why then, Pastor Bathfire, did the generality of Jesus's wise and acute observations not apply?"

But when you say such things, you simply display the evidence of inattention:

M'r:16:16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
M'r:16:17: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
M'r:16:18: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

It is clear that the rice was probably made from water from the local river which serves as a general sewer, it was only lightly cooked and left for a few days somewhere warm during which time the odd 'roach and rat would have urinated, defecated, and vomited upon it.

Now, I've never heard of a True Christian™ who has been affected by such things but these idolators are fair game.

I'll bet you those who come round will have all accepted Jesus.

There's been a strong missionary effort in India but, as in so many places, prejudice against Christians has become the new norm. Jesus is still powerful and able to save the hindoos if only they'd turn to Him. But how can that happen where spreading The Gospel is against the law?

Quote:

State Anti-conversion Laws in India
Summary

India’s Freedom of Religion Acts or “anti-conversion” laws are state-level statutes that have been enacted to regulate religious conversions. The laws are in force in eight out of twenty-nine states: Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Uttarakhand. While there are some variations between the state laws, they are very similar in their content and structure. All of the laws seek to prevent any person from converting or attempting to convert, either directly or otherwise, another person through “forcible” or “fraudulent” means, or by “allurement” or “inducement.” However, the anti-conversion laws in Rajasthan and Arunachal Pradesh appear to exclude reconversions to “native” or “original” faiths from their prohibitions. Penalties for breaching the laws can range from monetary fines to imprisonment, with punishments ranging from one to three years of imprisonment and fines from 5,000 to 50,000 Indian rupees (about US$74 to $735). Some of the laws provide for stiffer penalties if women, children, or members of scheduled castes or schedule tribes (SC/ST) are being converted.

II John 1:7,9a Many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist..Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.

The Bible tells us about people who transgress the doctrine of Christ and they are quite easy to spot. Who would adore Christ by throwing a poo party? Who would fashion an ordure goblin to celebrate His Name? Who would obsess over idols for days on end? Antichrist is very active in India.

The festivities involve grain and "hillocks" of excreta. The pictures show how they're shaped into poo goblins, decorated with garlands and strewn with grain. Although it looks as though a child had made its half-hearted effort under duress, in fact the grains are delicately placed by an adult. In the example (middle picture and second video clip) it looks like matta rice which has a large grain size and is quite tasty. I've included a sample [LEFT] so you can make your own assessment.

These people do not regard themselves as insane. Other people do not regard them as insane. They don't seem to like the consequences of rejecting God in this way, typhoid, cholera, TB, bird flu, leprosy (even though after the death experience they think they come back as a special magic rat or ox or if you've been very good and played with lots and lots of poo, maybe even a Brahmin) but as I've highlighted in the quote from the Law Library of Congress, to suggest there may be a better way gets you .from one to three years of imprisonment and fines from 5,000 to 50,000 Indian rupees.!

Not wishing to go against whatever laws prevail wherever the missionaries find themselves, opportunities for sharing The Good News are severely restricted. Even as the deaths pile up, to suggest that not using those hands for food preparation would be beneficial or not rolling your infants around in sewage products but instead accepting the mighty Salvation from God in Jesus gets you slugged and although we know that He's waiting to rejoice over India how can that happen if they never hear about His Perfect Love?
Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

 Did you mean, two of your favorite rice dishes? Because I am not aware of Malay-Spanish fusion cuisine.

Mohammedans are eager to brand their progeny with muslim viruses. Hindoos less so perhaps. Sikhs don't obsess but when giving it away they do like hairs to be cut off voluntarily and although anyone admiring hippies will think the de-turbaned look is ravishingly cool the orange turban brigade will step up where scissors dither.

Disease pits are never recommended as food sources. Quite apart from poo worship or earnest wishes that infidels drop dead is the obstinate determination to keep producing opium. Enemies of Christ become enriched. Poison is the answer.

Christians are immune to poison but grain crops are not and run-off gets into everything. Imagine your son (or daughter) growing up defiant and although chosen for Salvation running around with a well dodgy crew. Maybe some LSD or toadstool punch and freaking out in mosh-pits (clothing optional) but eventually they'd heed the call of Christ.

Hell could get them using toxic rice at any time before accepting The Good News and your children be lost forever.
