Jesus is my Valentine. Please read this, Lord.

Oh Jesus, You are my valentine - not in a pagan way, but in a You-like way. I would tingle if You were to visit on this day as You did on Your birthday. I would give You a specially decorated pie! Think of the pleasure it would bring You to have yet another day of praise in person as well as a few hours away from answering prayers about Olympic gold. (Did you really mean for that Russian to win one?)

I love You, Lord. Be mine.

PS: I put a box of those little hearts with cute sayings on them on the table. They're just for You.

Praise You in Your Name, and You bless You.

I can imagine nothing more super than to be held in His muscular arms as I sing His praises to Him for ever and ever.

I honestly cannot wait to die.

Brother Niles:

I know you crave His muscular embrace, as His breath covers you with warmth and glory. But do stop and think of your nephew. How would his young, lithe, and athletic self get by without your watchful eye?

I suspect the LORD will want you to continue observing little nephew's every movement until the young man can reach adulthood. Your influence in his life is far more important than your desire to sit on Jesus' lap.

I say these things to you meekly, and not in rebuke.

This is lovely!

Dr. Niles, I am finding myself agreeing with Naomi. If the LORD were to take you tomorrow, as you no doubt wish He would, what earthly being would protect your youthful nephew from the wiles of Satan? I apologize if it sounds like I am rebuking or criticizing you, but I feel like your nephew would benefit more if you're still alive.

Amen to that. It would be easy to fall into a torpor and wallow in SELF-PITY as I spend ANOTHER Valentine's Day ALONE. But instead I will take the opportunity to prepare myself for my future bridegroom, Emmanuel, Jesus Christ, KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS.

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

I intend to be among the most WELL GROOMED and THOROUGHLY MANSCAPED of Gentle Jesus' adoring man-brides come the Glory.
