New from Australia :)

Hi everyone,

I just registered with Landover Baptist Church, thank you for accepting e into your congregation. Live in Australia with my wife Cindy and our two children Dylan (14) and Emma (13). Australia has just approved gay marriage, something that I find abhorrent. In fact, faggots make me feel sick. I am fearful fir a future where fags have all the rights and basically can do the disgusting things that do to each other.

I love Jesus, my wife and kids, and i look forward to meeting you online,
yours,
Adam Spicer

G'day Adam,

Welcome to the friendly forums. What's the weather like in Austria at the minute? Do they still eat a lot of Spetzel and Bratwurst where you live?

Anyway enough of the small talk. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible Verse (KJV 1611) is.

One of mine is
1 Peter 2:11 - Dearly beloved, I beseech [you] as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul

Hi mate,

Haha I live in Australia, not Austria - I'm from the land down under.

One of my favourites is Timothy 3:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

My family attend New Hope Baptist Church here in Melbourne.

Nice to meet you!
Adam

A cautious welcome to you to God's favourite Forum!

The other side of the world? Wow, that must be very strange! We are very much liking your Mr Comfort: his tireless efforts to reach around to the secular world with his documentaries that show just how bankrupt evilution is are and is

What church do you go to, what is your favourite Bible(KJV1611) and when did you start your walk with Christ?

[QUOTE=Adamspicer;1234108]Hi everyone,

I just registered with Landover Baptist Church, thank you for accepting me into your congregation.[quote]Landover has merely agreed to your making a few probabtional posts. Membership of the congregation starts with the economical "Tin Tithers' Plan" at $200 per month.

Disappointingly non-Biblical names...

Dear Mr. Spicer,

My sincerest apologies. I was reading very quickly, as I usually do with new posters, and the fact that you actually come from Van Diemen's Land totally escaped me.

So, tell us is Aboland still full of cannibals and Irish deportee criminals, what crime did your parents commit to be deported from England? Do you know any of the people on Masterchef? I can't find anything specific to chefs, but there are a lot of verses about food:
Genesis 9:3 - Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

Matthew 6:11 - Give us this day our daily bread.

Psalms 34:8 - O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him.

Genesis 1:29 - And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Matthew 4:4 - But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Hope you don't eat prawns or yabbies though, God says not to

Leviticus 11:10-11 -
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which [is] in the waters, they [shall be] an abomination unto you:

11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.

Hi Adam,

What's with all these mean words like "fag" and "faggot"?

You're not going to win many souls for Christ using hateful words like that.

Every homosexual has the potential to accept Jesus Christ as his personal savior and be saved and lead a chaste life without sex or romance or physical affection!

What they never consider is what happens if everyone takes up that lifestyle? We'd all go extinct! But they never mention that. Sure, they can buy a baby or something, but there wouldn't be any available by any means unless they went out and compromised their "marriage" which straight away makes it different from a normal marriage so why use the same word?

I hope you are able to contribute here without promoting heresy, just a precautionary welcome due to sometimes raving maniacs turn up and you wouldn't believe some of the stuff! Mormons, say. I don't want to say "Too rubbish to be true" but honestly, spirit babies on Kolob? When they were challenged quite a lot relocated to your country I've heard. Ever encountered one? Not wishing to single out one heretic swarm from the hive, perhaps you've met a Scientologist? I just wonder whether you might be Mexican and trying to hop the Landovers interwebs borders by pretending to come from kangarooland
My computer translation tool for "AdamSpicer" comes up with "A dam spic er". As is well known, these tools are imperfect, and the more likely translation is "A damn spic here"

I would not trust this poster at all.
It is a well known fact that everyone from Melbourne is homosexual.

Oh, for goodness' sake, these idiots only had an election yesterday and already they want another one?

Quote:

Mr Strache blamed his actions on alcohol and acting like a "teenager", saying his behaviour had been "stupid" and "irresponsible", and that he was leaving to avoid further damage to the government.
Why is that even a problem in Australia, where everyone is permanently under the influence of "tinnies"?

Thank you for the informative links Mrs. Lytton-Vasey. I read there that:

Quote:

The secretly-filmed video shows Mr Strache and Johann Gudenus - also a Freedom Party politician - talking to a woman who claims to be a wealthy Russian citizen looking to invest in Austria.

In the footage, the woman... offers to buy a 50% stake in Austria's Kronen-Zeitung newspaper and switch its editorial position to support the Freedom Party.

In exchange, Mr Strache said he could award her public contracts...

"If you take over the Kronen Zeitung three weeks before the election and get us into first place, then we can talk about everything," Mr Strache said.
I don't see any issue there worth resigning over. It's just business and negotiation. So what if the Vice President of Australia is secretly talking to wealthy Russians and promising government contracts in exchange for electoral advantages? That's how the sausage is made.

I'd be pleased if our Greatest President Trump were talking secretly to Russians without any records taken or even any other Americans present. I'm sure the Russians didn't take secret videos of these meetings, why would they? Probably very dry and boring like watching 3D Chess. Way too complicated for us to understand.

Does the boss of Exxon make public broadcasts of confidential business meetings? Are the Koch brothers setting out their stall off Broadway for an interactive experience? Do we see a Barclay brothers kiosk on speakers' corner "finding the words" with a tannoy system and public questionnaires? I could go on.

But the real reason was in there with the sausage. Non-participants were deprived of an hour's surfboard use or two minimum fish.&.chips. Now that really would. skew the result!

Here is the U.S. we know the value of keeping secrets. Trump keeps his income tax records secret and the economy improves. He keeps his dealings with Russians and North Korea secret and the economy gets even better. Australia can learn from us.
