Will female presidents lead to world peace?
So, there's a record number of women running for president. University students - our future ruling class - are majority female. There's a lot of predictions that we will have world peace if we have a female-ruled world.
Kind of reminds me of the liberal optimism around the Burmese bimbo Aung San Suu Kyi, before she took power and, you know, committed genocide. Bit catchier tune that the "Horst-Wessel Lied" but overall the same thing: Irish Times: U2 ''...could have “never imagined” Ms Suu Kyi would remain silent while more than 600,000 Rohingya people were forced to flee police brutality in Myanmar.Perhaps all of our prediction skills could be improved if we stopped putting the poontang on a pedestal? And don't say that female leaders are only being violent to fit in with the boys. When there are ONLY female leaders, they have catfights: the rivalry between Sheikh Hasina and Begum Khaleda Zia has killed 1,000+ Bangladeshis in the past 5 years alone. And who could forget Queen Lizzie chopping off the head of Mary, Queen of Scots? Okay, but these are anecdotes, you say. Well, here's a study of 33 female heads of state, which concludes that female leaders: "...engaged in wars in which their polity was the aggressor...female rulers, in their own right, pursued more aggressive war policies."Want a larger sample size? How about the whole population of Germany? I know we tend to "teach the controversy" when it comes to whether the holocaust happened, but this book sounds believable: |

A female president? ROFL
What next? Women as doctors, dentists, and the like? Preposterous. |
Re: Will female presidents lead to world peace?
What about President Thatcher? Didn't she blow up some ships? Obviously that part of the world is peaceful now but Romish hordes had tried their usual forced conversion routine. Papists have some but they're not usually very stable places. I don't really know much about Mexico.

The Right Honorable Margaret Thatcher was a prime minister, not a president. I am not sure which church she was a minister of, but probably the Church of England. The fact that she was "prime" minister means she held a similar office as Pastor Ezekiel. He is OUR prime minister. You ladies just know nothing about things political. |

Thank you for your post. I was reflecting oh how women leaders got on in the past.
They do not seem to have been very peaceful. Quote:

Re: Will female presidents lead to world peace?
On election day in November 2016 Americans went to the polls to vote. All the pundits, along with months of polling data indicated that Hillary Clinton was to be America's first woman president and would win by wide margins.
Once securely inside the voting booths most sensible Americans were confronted with the honest truth, no woman should become president - not even the corrupt Hillary. America needs a stable genius to be entrusted with the missile launch codes - not to mention dealing with our enemys like the commies. Everyone intuitively knows what happens to women when let out of the house and kitchen unsupervised (not to mention given their own cars and credit cards) and permitted to wander aimlessly. One has to look no further than the "reality" TV series "Real Housewives" for any number of examples. |
