The time of the Final Reckoning draws near. Jesus is disappointed with Mankind and its obtuse dismissal of His message despite the many agonizing Tribulations He has shared with the sinners. In today's reading we'll find out how Jesus forces the remaining Earth-dwellers to choose sides and how He lets those who choose the wrong side suffer! Glory!

Chapter 13 is all about the enemy. First we're introduced the Beast.

Revelation 13:1
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Seven heads, ten horns - seems weird. Then we realize that it is about blasphemy, mocking Jesus and His followers, the True Christians™, i.e., us, that by this time are securely in Heaven. Nice. The Earth's remaining population with mostly choose the Beast.

Revelation 13:3-4
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

This is one of the places in the Bible where it is OK to take the Beast as a symbol. There is probably not going to be a real animal that would look like this depiction, instead, it is a symbol of seven sinner-populations that hate Jesus. Many ignorant scholars have suggested different political nations as the seven heads, but if we look at verse Revelation 13:1 again, we still see the word "blasphemy". Thus it is quite possible that the heads represent the seven great false cults that have seduced almost everyone: Catholicism, Darwinism, Islam, liberal false Christianity, the Gay Agenda, Feminism, and the oriental religions including Hinduism, Tao, Mormonism, Jews, etc., etc. How come it is possible that God allows people to be led astray like that?

Revelation 13:
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Because it is God who gives this beast its power. Jesus makes it make war against Him. This way Jesus will see, who will make the bad choice of choosing Satan. It is given onto this Beast to make war. It is Jesus's handwriting all over. Nice. Again, we see that the sinners themselves are to blame for their trespasses. Jesus has no other way but to smite them. Glory!

Now another character enters the stage. The Antichrist!

Revelation 13:11-12
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Similarly, he wields the power God gave to the first beast of false religions. He does wonders and nice things and, thus, people follow him and not Jesus. We'll soon see that this is a really bad choice! Nice. This also allows Jesus to clearly distinguish the few remaining loyalists from those who have chosen Satan. There is going to be a mark on the evil ones!

Revelation 13:16
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

What is it going to be like?

Revelation 13:18
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

666. There it is. The number that has caused lots of speculation among badly educated false Christian scholars. Based on numerology, it has been suggested that this person was Ceasar Nero, whose name in Aramaic, is valued at 666 based on the numerical values of Jewish letters. Similarly, some have suggested Mohammed, etc. We know that it was not Nero, as everything else in the context of Revelation does not fit. All the other things did not happen. They still have not occurred. Thus, we know that the Antichrist is someone walking this Earth right now.

Staggering stuff. On to Chapter 14. Last warnings are given to the sinners. Jesus is really trying to Save the remaining Mankind from His Wrath.

Revelation 14:6-7
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

A second angel follows, and a third one. Jesus is really doing His best with these final warnings.

Revelation 14:9-10
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

With that out of the way, Jesus starts to prepare His next round of punishments. This one is targeted at those who have chosen Satan and they're many, in the billions. He orders the angels to make a tonic, a tincture that will cause unprecedented havoc on Earth very soon.

Revelation 14:
And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

The results of this extraction are revealed in Chapter 15.

Revelation 15:1
And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

The few (Matthew 7:14) who have chosen Jesus sing His Praise!

Revelation 15
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Again, we see that the judgment of Jesus is Just. It would be foolish to accuse Him of all the slaughter that has taken place and will take place in the next Chapter! By sending the Beasts unto earth He gave the sinners a test and they failed. He warned them and they failed Him. Now it is time to beat the bejeezus out of them!

Revelation 15:7
And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
