It's true that not everyone's a Christian in this world.

IN THIS WORLD.

But what happens in THE WORLD TO COME? It's a real place and the real focus of our lives here on earth, The Bible explains.

HEBREWS 6:4-6a It is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance

Actions now result in an eternity of either delight or torment. The torment is the worst. Unremitting torture, agony, grief, remorse but on a scale unimaginable to us. There is no annihilation for those who disbelieve, Jesus explains. And not all wrongdoing is equal. Sometimes a person does something so dreadful that even if they spent the next 100 years feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, providing comfort for diseased wretches and buying everyone a new electric car (I'm not here to plug brands) they still end up, IN THE WORLD TO COME, gurning horribly in the pain and distress and agony and more pain over and over again.

MATTHEW 12:30-32 Whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come

I hardly need to say that if blaspheming resulted in annihilation, it wouldn't matter whether one raved against God and The Holy Spirit or even Vishnu and The Great She Elephant for that matter. Day after day, "Oh yea baby Elephant schmelephant see if I care!" and so on from the cradle to the grave and then: nothing.

But that is not what The Bible teaches. If you think The Bible is wrong, why do you cite it? And if you think The Bible is right, why don't you follow it? The outcome after all, the primary concern of any Christian, is not here but in THE WORLD TO COME.

10 years later, and I must say, this did not age well at all. I thought cancel culture was something only 'pagans' on instagram engaged in, but it appears I was wrong. Fortunately, the cancellation efforts here have worked just as badly if not more so than on instagram.

I can tell that this is a forum for the discussion of God's word. I can also tell when signs of domestic abuse are present, which just so happens to be illegal. In that matter, at least, you're arguing with American law, not me. Perhaps you should consult a lawyer on the matter.
