Catch and Release Fishing is not Biblical

I see in the news people who want to be viewed as "likeable" bragging they release the big fish they catch. I challenge each of them to point to this being done in the Bible. Jesus' followers were fishermen who ate or sold the fish they caught.

Releasing fish promotes the message the fish are more important than the fisherman. Anyone who reads the Bible has seen Gen. 1: 26-28. It tells us God gave man dominion over animals. Hear is advice to catch and release fishermen: STOP IT.

Those people will never find the treasured coins that The Lord left for them in the fish if they never slit open the bellies.

Oh sure, it's totally fine for these beta cucks to catch fish on hooks through the mouth and then chuck them back in the water, but when me and the boys go out and shoot deer in the legs with AR-15s for fun, virtue signallers call the cops on us? Ironically for them, the sheriff and the game warden were in our party, so that backfired.

That one is pretty. It does need to grow a bit more, catch it again next year, or two years later! Then it will make a nice meal:

I always fish the way God intended it. With dynamite. Fishing with hooks is for gays and girls.

I agree here Mayor. The Bible references fishing many times but never once does it talk about throwing the beasts back.

I'm inclined to concur here. Imagine if the owner of the two fishes told Jesus that he had enough fishes to feed the multitude but he just kept two for himself and threw the rest back. I imagine Jesus would have flogged him to within an inch of his life.

I catch fish so I can preach The Gospel to them. I have to let them go so they can spread the Good News to all their friends.

There is a big story today the largest freshwater fish ever caught was taken in Thailand. It was a stingray and weighed over 660 pounds.

That would be a wonderful story of man's domination over beasts were it not for how it ended. After the data was collected and pictures taken it was released. What was the point in catching it??

Perhaps the people making the decision were part of the false cult, Buddhism. Christians would know better.
