Is There Such a Thing as a "Stray Bullet"
There are so many smart people in Freehold I like to ask them about questions that come up. In Decator, IL, a young man, reportedly a Christian, died after a bullet came into the window of the apartment he shared with his wife.
It was referred to in the media as a "stray bullet." Doesn't God guide bullets from guns? And, if His bullet hit a man reportedly Christian, wouldn't we have to conclude God had some good reason for it to strike the man? I mean, it's ok to report a bullet killed the man. But making the subjective assumption it was a "stray bullet" seems a stretch to me. Christian husband fatally shot by stray bullet as he slept | U.S. News (christianpost.com) |

Gilliam is a French surname and as for Lead Pastor "Joe McCaig" ... well, that sounds Scotch to me. People can pretend to be Baptists all they like, but Jesus is not so easily deceived. Re: Is There Such a Thing as a "Stray Bullet"
If people would spay and neuter their bullets, stray bullets would all be able to find their forever homes, and this kind of tragedy wouldn't happen. ;)
In all seriousness, this is why it's important to teach marksmanship to young boys starting in their preschool years. Otherwise, when men are defending their families from Antifa terrorists and Mexican drug gangs who came to rape the women and girls in a white neighborhood, they might miss and accidentally kill someone who counts. |
Re: Is There Such a Thing as a "Stray Bullet"
The "stray bullet" is a useful legal defense in certain jurisdictions where they don't allow one to shoot threatening individuals. Instead of going through the rigamarole of a trial, one has a quiet word with the Chief Inspector about the tragedy of how a caravan of travelers and all their disgusting animals were mown down by a "stray bullet". Such a pity. One mustn't forget to bring a little donation, to be entrusted to the Chief for safe keeping.

Re: Is There Such a Thing as a "Stray Bullet"
No such thing as a 'stray bullet'. Every one goes where God intends.
If God does not want you to hit the evil-doer in your sights, He makes the weapon mis-fire. If God determined that the person you are shooting at needs to live for some reason beyond out understanding, He has them survive with an life long injury aligned with his lack of belles. If He chooses for a 'innocent 3rd party to get their lungs blown out' then He clicks my sights 30 to the right. I sometimes wonder when I fire up into the sky for God to see my hand loaded 30-06 rounds, how often He uses His hands to guide the falling round into the skull of a non-Christian. |
Re: Is There Such a Thing as a "Stray Bullet"
The majority of gunplay in the United States is amongst Negroes. The average firearm homicide victim in the US is a black male (killed by another black male, not a police officer no matter how much Blag Libes Matta wants you to believe this). I have to believe God's hand is at work here. We often hear about Negroes "bussin caps" from their car windows or tenement flats with the resultant bullets striking some little black kid on its bicycle or bassetbaw court and killing it dead. This is an extremely rare occurrence in white communities. I look upon it as evidence of the glory of God.
