Well look where it got you, shell shocked and thrown to the wolves. The special olympics is beautiful. It gives people a chance to at least try to feel like they aren't useless. To at least try and be a part of the world. To feel like they can accomplish something. IF this nation can build F-22s, launch Tomahawk missiles, go into space and make lasers, we can accomodate the less fortunate here.

leprosy, one of the most horrible diseases there ever has been, able to deform and mutilate a body, repulsive as your post says, yet jesus healed those afflicted, there is no shame in being disabled these people show more courage and vitality and good nature by getting on with their lives than you do in besmirching them...u should be ashamed of yourself...and if not then you are the one hellbound and damned... :angry:

Yes, Jesus healed the lepers because He loved them. If He loved retards, He could cure them as well, but He doesn't. Why would He refuse to do that if He loves them?

If there is no shame in being cripples, why did Jesus heal them? Why didn't He just say, "You're perfectly fine being a gimp, so go out there and enjoy your deformities!" He didn't! Those He felt were remorseful enough of their sins, He cured!
