Please Wear a Mask

At Landover Baptist Church, we've been all about wearing masks since the very beginning. And now, we and President Trump are asking everyone to wear a mask when you aren't able to socially distance. Unfortunately, COVID is going to get worse before the President's currently-being-formulated "powerful plans" make it disappear later this summer, and we'd like to keep the death toll down until then. After all, that's what being pro-life is all about, isn't it?

My friend, the advice from the top couldn't be more clear if they wrote it in gold letters on 5th Avenue. Stop the testing and don't put on a mask. The supporters know exactly what he means even when he says something else. Civil war. Corona virus.

Oh, I understand all of this, but I'm afraid that I find these darned masks to be so much of a bother! The little ear cords get tangled with the chain on my reading glasses, and it annoys me so, to have to untangle things so much. However, I suppose that it's a small price to pay, especially now that our beloved President Trump has declared that it is the patriotic thing to do. And, if our :god-fancy:-blessed President can put up with a bit of inconvenience, then I suppose I have no reason to grumble.

As the great President Lincoln once said: "In the choice between the loss of our way of life as Americans and the loss of life of American lives, we have to always choose the latter." Maybe it wasn't Lincoln, but the point still stands - our way of life is worth losing 2-3% of the population over. At least they won't be complaining about voter suppression any more - it's actually a neat solution to both problems.

I've just been discussing this - apparently a fabric band tied behind the head serves quite well. I do have plenty of 100% cotton material so will be making some out of that. It's also fluorescent which will be useful at night (if it happened to be necessary to go out) but one thing is just as important as following God's advice in Titus 3 is to remember His Strict Commandment in Leviticus 19 and make sure, if you do need to wear a mask, not to accept one of blended fabrics. Satan will be trying his best to insinuate his debased standards with shatnez "protection" but check out the whole passage: this is one of a list of very serious offences. Jesus was absolutely clear on this and the requirement has not been rescinded.

Don't be afraid to ask, when offered a mask, and don't be afraid to stay inside if whatever it's made from opposes Scripture. Jesus will make sure you're OK.

Yes, masks are inconvenient, but we only need to wear them until election day.

On Wednesday, he sounded a different tone, saying, "I had a mask on. I sort of liked the way I looked. OK. I thought it was OK. It was a dark black mask, and I thought it looked OK.

"It looked like the Lone Ranger," he continued, a reference to the real law-and-order character from the American Old West who wore a black eye mask. "I have no problem with that, and if people feel good about it, they should do it."

"I think when you're in a hospital, especially in that particular setting, where you're talking to a lot of soldiers and people that, in some cases, just got off the operating tables, I think it's a great thing to wear a mask," the president told reporters. "I've never been against masks, but I do believe they have a time and a place."

And he makes a speech. And he walks onto the stage wearing this massive mask. There's nobody on the stage. And then he takes it off. He likes to have it hang off usually the left ear. I think it makes him feel good, frankly, if you want to know the truth. And I guess that's OK. And I'm OK with it, if he wants to do that. He's [Biden] got the largest mask I think I have ever seen. It covers up a big proportion of his face. Yes, I think, if I'm in the right setting, if I'm with soldiers, people that -- I don't want to spread anything. And it's -- a lot of it is, it's you spreading, not them spreading.

"Somehow sitting in the Oval Office, behind that beautiful Resolute Desk," Trump said, indicating he thought it would be uncomfortable wearing a mask as he met with "presidents, prime ministers, dictators, kings, queens – I don’t know, somehow I don’t see it for myself."

I think there's two important takeaways here.

1. The mask has to make you look cool. A black lone ranger or batman style mask is fine. Ugly masks that cover up a big portion of your face are out. if you can't find a suitable mask that makes you look cool feel free to do without.

2. You have to make sure the people you're around are people you actually don't want to spread it to, eg. soldiers. We can't have them dying before they spread freedom to ignorant Middle Easterners and protesters in our own country. If they're reporters, Democrats, lesser foriegn kings and queens, typical people at the grocery store, spread away.

Oh, gracious sakes alive; this is so true, Dear; although, I wonder if your good advice will be met with enthusiasm by all people? As you well know, there are unscrupulous persons around who love nothing more than to take advantage of certain situations. And, I do fear that this business with the wearing of masks is going to be abused by such people. Why, I've read that there are several who are plotting to pervert such measures for their own dastardly means, as you shall see in the attached photo!

Of course you need to wear a mask in public places, but it wouldn't save you from the virus if someone will cough near you, even in mask .There is no guarantee

No True Christian™ has been infected. God's wrath is directed towards those who sin, or whose forefathers have sinned going back a few generations.

It's so disappointing when you've explained to someone how much God hates sin, even shared some examples from history such as Jerichohttp://www.23hq.com/23666/25790756_e...04be_thumb.jpg Sodomhttp://www.23hq.com/23666/25790635_5...fb55_thumb.jpg Ananias & Sapphirahttp://www.23hq.com/23666/25790636_7...9539_thumb.jpg and they more or less say if that's God's standard, well their standard is better and in any competition between standards the better will prevail. Yet knowing the consequences they still choose the "down" escalator.

Or at least until covid only hurts the people it needs to hurt. President Trump is the Skilled Pilot of this nation that can crash the left side of the plane, the side with the homers and liberals and people who drink Seattle coffee, and leave the right in tact to land safely and usher in ANOTHER FOUR YEARS!

Oh, Dear! It appears that :hell-4:ywood is getting in on this Chinese flu nonsense, and not in a way that's fit for younger eyes. This "movie star" (or whatever he is) thinks he has something vital to add to all of those messages about preventative measures regarding the Kung Flu. Oh, I know he has a right to speak his mind, what with the 1st Amendment and all, but does he have to do it in such a disgusting, provocative manner? I'll include the video clip here; but, please, parents, send your kiddies out of the room before you play this!

Greetings!

I have been made very uncomfortable by this wearing of masks. As a Black man I am somewhat fearful of walking into a store to get some okra and tomatoes wearing a mask because the white people there often think I am a robber and they hold up their hands. They might shoot I. That would ruin all the dinner plans. It is bad enough that the white people have brought this virus to get rid of Black people. I do not think you should be shooting us for trying to hide from it.

Jah Guide!
