Top 10 reasons why God hates rock music.
 

Hello brothers and sisters of Christ, I know that this is a topic much discussed already, but it cannot be said enough. Rock music is a scourge on our nation, and must be stopped at all costs. Here are 10 facts that explain exactly why God hates this rubbish "music".

1. It encourages the use of illegal drugs. Practially every one of the top 40 records being played on every radio station in the United States is a communication to the children to take a trip, to cop out, to groove. The psychedelic jackets on the record albums have their own hidden symbols and messages as well as the lyrics to all the top rock songs and they all sing the same refrain: It's fun to take a trip, put acid in your veins.

2. Drums are the instruments of satanists, devil worshipers and pagans, and should never be listened to. The rhythm has been proven to have a brainwashing effect on children, and slowly converts them to satanism. If you hear drums, block your ears! I cannot stress this enough.

3. Rock music encourages rebellion. The Lord orders us to submit to unto him, but with this rock and roll in our ears, we are likely to rebel against Him and His word. Further, the music teaches children not to listen to the wise counsel of their parents. How can we raise our children to be good Christian Americans when they listen to this rebellious filth?

4. Rock music encourages homosexuality and transvestism with men wearing make-up, and even dresses or skirts (which they try and say are "kilts", ha! We know better than to fall for that! Clearly rock represents a homosexual agenda, with all male groups touring the countryside in one bus. Most likely they are sharing the same bed as well, but let's not get into that.

5. Rock encourages women to start thinking for themselves, and to believe that they don't need a husband to guide and lead them. So-called female rockers parade on stage singing about nonsense like "independence". All such performers are lesbians or possibly bisexual, as some travel alone with large groups of men.

6. So-called "Christian" rock groups are the worst of all. Not only do they put the name of our almighty God into these "songs" with drums and guitars, which is the height of blasphemy might I add, but they're also part of the same agenda as the rest of them. They attempt to fool good Christian children and parents into buying their music in order to brainwash them and convert them to satanism.

7. Rock tries to tell us that the government is wrong, but only when a Republican is in office. Look how they've stopped doing that since Comrade Obama muscled his way into office. They've always wanted to destroy our beautiful capitalist country with their socialist ideals. Remember, it's a small step from rock music to communism.

8. Rock music encourages promiscuity and whoredom with their overly sexual lyrics and innuendo. They parade around on stage and in videos half-naked in an attempt to convince young girls (and boys) that they want to have sex with them. Studies have shown that children and teenagers who listen to rock are 22% more likely to have sex with older persons. Rock music = pedophilia.

9. Rock concerts are often used to present propaganda about "peace". This is a clear distraction from the war that God has ordained us to win. If the rock musicians were in charge, we'd all be living under the rule of the Saudis by now!

10. Lastly, rock music encourages us not to read God's Holy Bible. The lyrics of nearly all rock songs are laced with subliminal messages telling us to burn our Bibles and submit to the will of Satan! We must ensure our children read the Bible instead of listening to this filth.

So there you have it, ten indisputable facts that prove that God hates rock music. We need to stand strong against this onslaught my friends, if your children bring home a rock CD, make them break it in half. Tell them to listen to real American music like Dolly Parton or Willie Nelson. Or even better, why don't we listen to more hymns? Encourage family singalongs of "Onward Christian Soldiers" and other real Christian patriotic songs.

Not all rock songs are bad. There are some that send a fairly good songs. There is one called "Live Like You're Dying" by Kris Allen which sends a good, true message.

Well said Brother! It's high time that our nation wakes up and bans everything you can't find in a Baptist Hymnal. Early in the 90s we had to deal with the acid rockers N'SYNC, and nowadays the airwaves are clogged with whining "emo" homosexuals and angry Negroes.

It would certainly appear that way, but it is a clever trick to fool us into listening to it.

They are also under no scrutiny to be Biblically correct, unlike us here at Landover who follow the KJV religiously. A rock band can say what they like, and no one will stop them!

Just look at these lyrics from the "Christian" rock group Petra (Sounds suspiciously Russian to me, could be communists too?):

God gave rock 'n' roll to you,
Put it in the soul of everyone,
If you love the sound,
And don't forget the Source,
You can turn-a-round,
You can change your course.

They are clearly trying to convert our wholesome youth to the evils of "rock 'n' roll" with the blasphemous statement that it is ordained of God! Remember, it's a gateway to the world of rock music in general. First it's Petra, then it's The God-Hating Satan Monkies!

You are making very good points here, Brother L&L. In particular, the bold sentences in those lyrics are particularly revealing. At first sight, it might seem that they are glorifying God here, but when you consider quotes of leading rock musicians:


You can only conclude that the source of Rock Music really is Satan. Therefore, the group Petra glorifies Satan in the above lyrics, showing their true allegiance! Three verses down, they further encourage people never to forget their Dark Master, and to turn their lives over to Satan.:angry:

Hello sorry for the lateness of this reply but something had to be said for this much closed mindedness the points you are trying to argue are ridicules they are not the reason why go hates rock it is the reason you hate it and are NOT facts. I am a 22 year old atheist who is in to rock and would like to get my point across I am not here to argue

1. it encourages the use of illegal drugs. as with any growing society young people will come in to contact with drugs and will have to decide what it is for them self’s mainly it is done due to peer pressure some music does have references to drugs if we look at the new dance or RaB there is even more references to drugs then in rock after being to many gigs and festivals I have never smelt seen or heard of any drugs

2. drums are the instrument of Satanists drums have been around thousands of years before Satan and god was even thought up and are key for any band to keep in time be it be rock COUNTRY dance alternative most bands have a drummer and is the easiest to get a rhythm to dance to off

3. rock music encourages rebellion this may have some truth to it but I have been lisining to rock for 8 years now and have never had the urge to topple a police car over or smash a phone box in it all depends on the person them self’s we can say the same about any religion and can safely come to the conclusion that it has caused more war and violets between people

4. rock music encourages homosexuality this is again down to the person it is still unknown what makes people gay is it the brain or how we are brought up I have nothing against them I live and work with them as for rock turning people gay I cant see it look at the band queen millions of people listened to him and did we have a gay epidemic no

5. rock encourages woman to think for them self’s this is true me and my partner are both rock and metal fans and I am glad that she has something that gives her some empowerment this is the 21st century after all woman are not daemons that need to be controlled as we found out and if independence is nonsense why fight for it you would still be under British rule and millions of people died in vain allies and Germans for your freedom and I referrer to my last about the gay comment

7. rock tries to tell us the government is wrong many things try and change government but the main one is people every one has a different belief what would work best and it is different depending on the person\working class also country

8. rock music encourages promiscuity and whordom I don’t know where the statistics are for this 22% yes rock music has tried the tight spandex and leather but this was in the 70s and 80s and is more of a joke or a passing fad if we look at other videos besides rock we see shirtless men and under clothed woman so why pick on us I was a responsible age to lose my virginity and have always had one partner

9. rock concerts about peace yes in a way we are have you ever been to one it is one of the closest group/family I have known and we all stick together and help each other out if one of us fall in the mosh pits you are picked up and back on your feet talk and dance with people you have never met before id rather young people vent anger out in a mosh pit then on each other

10. it encourages us not to read the bible most bands are registered Christians even those who look the meanest and sadistic it is for show as newer bands try and out do each other way back to ozzy Osborn I have read the bible but through my own choice have decided not to believe if I don’t believe in a god how can I believe in a devil

most people who come to power turn to drugs for new highs or to get away from sadness having only taken drugs twice in my life I can say they do not interest me and yes some impressionable people will copy for instance you copying the ten commandments why the only reason I do similar is I know right from wrong as everyone does

Still the music you guys listen (i believe is gospel?) is played mostly on Organ wich is an instrument made in the 1700s but the first drums were made 6000 years before christ so it is obvious that the chance to people in bible to listen to drums wich you think is from satan is way more better than them listening to your organ.
