Comparison of the most religious country to the least religious country in the western world Sweden & USA

After reading the hate on this site about Sweden and its brother country Norway I think it is time to give some real facts about it. These two countries are the least religious countries in the world which you can read about later in my post:
Lets start out with some financial facts:
List of countries by GDP (Gross Domestic Product per capita in 2011)

Norway - $102,200
Sweden - $62,900
USA - $48,400

Please read entire list below:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...%29_per_capita

Sweden & Norway ranks on top in the world when it comes to:
1. The number of Women in congress (percentage of men vs women)
2. First on United Nations (UNDP) ranking of the best countries to live in
3. Least corrupt in the world
4. Gives most aid in terms of GDP per capita to poor countries in the world
5. Least dangerous
6. Have the most number of people who believe in evolution in the world (you are pretty much considered "nuts" to believe in creationism in these two countries)
7. etc
8. etc
9. etc

Please click on the links below to learn some interesting facts:

Sweden is the most effective at using the Internet to improve people’s lives according to the Web Index Report.

If you want to be happy, healthy, and powerful, you might consider packing your bags and moving to a picturesque country on the other side of the Atlantic. According to a new report, Sweden tops out as the #1 place for women to live:

From link above (percent of GDP given to poor countries - Gross Domestic Product) Yes, these awful non-religious countries cares most about giving aid to other countries that need it:

Importance of religion by country
The first percentage is if they say that religion is important in their life. The second is if religion is not important in their life.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...Sweden.svg.png Sweden 16.5% 83% (first place)
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...enmark.svg.png Denmark 18% 80.5%
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...Norway.svg.png Norway 20.5% 78%

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...omalia.svg.png Somalia 98.5% 1.5% (last place)

Note: there are of course many countries between Sweden and Somalia but these are examples from the list.

Should I continue with the most religious christian countries:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...nduras.svg.png Honduras 84% 15.5%

Guess what...Honduras has the highest murder rate per capita in the world.....

The countries that are more religious than Honduras are not Christian....

To all the religions Americans who read this and think that the country is falling apart because "more and more people are turning away from God"....don't be so worried that USA getting less religious....it is actually a good thing....

I can give you interesting facts about the top 10 christian religious countries in the world. Please tell me if you wan to know more of them. Trust me..it's not very pleasant to read...

Why religion exists
Picture two lemonade stands: side by side.
One has a banner that reads: Brutal Truths (A Realist/Atheist stands behind this stand).
The other has a banner that reads: Comforting Lies (a supporter of Jesus
stands behind this stand).
Unfortunately the booth of Brutal Truths has no customers.
While at the booth of Comforting Lies the line goes on for miles.

First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. We're right and you're wrong, according to Jesus and the Holy Word of God. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself. :rtfm:

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .

If you want to debate people, THIS is the place to go.

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself. :rtfm:

I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire. :sinner::haha:

I'm sick and tired of the Europaeons throwing up their "GDP" and claiming they are somehow "superior". The fact of the matter is that the Godly US has had to twice bail them out when they got themselves into their silly wars (WWI and WWII). It was also the might of the Godly US military and our nuclear arsenal of bombers, missiles, tanks, and NATO treaties that prevented the Bolsheviks from overrunning their countries for almost half a century. It they even bothered to pay us back for keeping the world safe for freedom and democracy their little "GDP" numbers might not look so "good". If it wasn't for the Godly US footing the bill they might today be giving little Hitler salutes when they get up every morning. Even today we seem to be the only ones trying to keep them from having to bow to Mecca.

As an economic power, the US still leads the world in number of patents granted.

As far as Sweden being the most effective at using the internet for "improving" people's lives, it's probably just to watch porn. Sweden has no age laws for the possession or viewing of pornography.

Ultimately by any measure you want to name, as a group the Europaeons are going to Hell for rejecting Jesus. Eternal happiness with Jesus is what is important in the grand scheme of things.

Well you can chop about 60% of that socialist income off for income tax, that will bring it back down into line. You also didn't mention cost of living, drug abuse, suicide or all the other things that are wrong with your country.

So tell me, do you enjoy suffering from severe tunnel vision? Does your sour grapes about the United States make you feel better about your own empty life? If life is so good over there, why do people still move here if they can?

Norway does not have a GDP that reflects their productivity or their work ethic. Their GDP is a function of their North Sea oil, which is a gift from God and one that they do not share with their fellow Europeans, including Sweden. So much for Norwegians being neighborly.

As an aside, I was in Norway recently in a restaurant, and it was full of pagans. They worship a god called Morgan, and it was on all of their aprons at the breakfast buffet. God Morgan. I rebuked them for it, and they just gaped at me. What a bunch of idiots.

Sweden is also #1 in lesbianism and unGodly women. http://www.sweden.se/eng/Home/Societ...ity-in-Sweden/

Look at these Swedish "Christians." They wouldn't know sin if it walked right up to them and said hello. Look how they rightfully eschew drunkenness and then turn around completely on gaysexualism. What does the Swedish version of Leviticus actually say, I wonder?

Also, is the best you can do some article from Marie Claire magazine? Who cares what they say in Marie Claire magazine?

You're confusing cause and effect.

Atheism didn't turn your nation into the wealthiest and most advanced civilization in history, it was your advancement that made you arrogant, thinking you can live without God. Your civilization is like the Tower Of Babel.

And the only reason you advanced in the first place is because you were born lucky, with good genes. If we didn't have all our blacks and italians and celts etc. we'd be in your position.

Good one :) Made me laugh!

For those who don't know norwegian: "god morgen" = "good morning"

When that is said, you might want to look into who it was that supported the nazi's financially (Rockefeller, hint hint)... Or where the nazis field rations came from (oh, yes! AMERICA!) It was the same good old americans who also sent field rations to the bolsheviks. Never forget that the ones making money from a war is allways those not taking part in it.

When it comes to the taxation in Scandinavia you can say it is a functional way of distributing wealth in a just manner. Even the bible tells you that it is harder for a rich man to get into heaven than it is for a camel to get through the eye of a needle. So in that sense, Americans will have a hard time as long as they don't redistribute wealth accordingly. And who gives the most aid to foreign countries? Thats right! Scandinavia does!

Now USA may have the most patents a year, but patents should really be looked at on a per capita basis, and that is where it is ages behind Sweden, Switzerland and Singapore.

Norway might be rich in oil and gass though. That is true, but if you knew a bit more about how that wealth is handelled, you would know that it is invested into infrastructure pretty much everywhere in the world except for in Norway (in order to keep the value of the krone low), and through the stock fund (norwegian oil fund) it is invested into stocks all over the world, adding investment opportunities to thousands of companies. The same oil fund has something called an ethics council where they look at human rights and bad companies making certain kinds of weapons, as well as companies not holding a good standard of human rights. Like in 2006 when they dumped Wal-Mart due to human rights abuse:

http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/money...-walmart_x.htm

(Thats the country of freedom for you!)

And finally, a large portion is invested into american bonds. But do you know what you americans has since done? Your Fed has printed billions of dollars essentially lowerring the value of all other nations holdings of US bonds. In essence, you have been stealing 20 billiong usd from the rest of the world since the financial crisis. And the only way you still have an economy is that your warmongering army is threatening any country that tries to sell oil and gas in any other currency than the $. As long as the oil and gas market is backing the dollar, you are safe, and you can keep printing money and essentially stealing from the rest of the world, but if Gaddafi, Syria, Sudan, Iran, Iraq or any other country tries to sell in euro or yuan for example, you will be as poor as Indonesia, and see a hyperinflation on scale with Zimbabwe.

And the reason might just be because of what the topic of this thread says. The first post in this thread is spot on. Your biggest problem is your christian religious extremism!

ANTI-AMERICAN HATE REMOVED!

Go make your own thread in Introductions so that you can tell us about yourself and your walk with Jesus. Is requesting a proper introduction too much to ask?

Yours in Him,

"Piston" is queer slang for male genitalia, so we know what's really on this poster's mind.

You can keep your homosexuality and your GPD, whatever that means. I'll stay here in God's Own Country where I'll be whisked away to Heaven after my death, thank you very much.

All this means in practice is that Nowegians and Swiss pay twice as much for everything than we do. Why would we want that? It's just another example of why freedom is superior to socialism. In America I can get a Mexican to come at 5am to clean my pool and tend the garden for almost NOTHING... a few bucks. In Norwegistan you'd have to apply to the government for an official union crew who would complain non-stop about safety and half-ass it for a full day on the clock.

Anyway, provide evidence, supported by scripture from the Holy Bible (KJV 1611), that all that communist twaddle is true.

Also welcome, I will pray for your eternal soul, even though I have a feeling it might be in vain.

I stopped reading at "men vs women". What an appallingly combative attitude your men and women have.

The only statistic I know about your country is that it was ranked second to Canada for something-or-other: second most boring, second highest consumption of whale blubber, second highest number of mosquitoes per square meter, I forget.

I don't hate your country. I even went to Gothenburg once, though not intentionally (that's Ryanair for you). But I do pity your people, standing in line down dark alleyways outside your state-owned alcohol monopoly shops before going home to commit suicide.

I see you've flown paddy air as well then. Did they charge you GBP163 extra for the priviledge of being taken to the wrong country. I remember flying to Spain once, we ended up in Morocco.

I went to Gothenburg a few years ago just before the annual witch hunt hoping to scope out new hunting grounds. I barely escaped with my life, I can tell you. The place was absolutely teeming with goths and mudslimes.
