Re: Lego – The Building Block of Satan!

LEGO actually means "play well", not "the God" If you don't believe me, look it up. There's nothing wrong with the LEGO itself, but if the wrong people get their grubby paws on 'em, that's when things get bad. Go ahead and buy LEGOs for your kids, just set some rules (no blasphemous creations, no sexual creations, ect.) Watch them while they play and just make sure they don't do anything bad. And If you're against Star Wars, Harry Potter, or anything else that LEGO sells, simply don't buy it. They have plenty of sets that pretty much nobody can turn down for being innapropriate, such as LEGO duplo or LEGO juniors which are made for children. If you find anything wrong with those, you're just trying to find a reason to complain. I grew up with LEGO, and I'm fine. I read the bible, I go to church each week (1 Timothy 3:15) and basically I love God above all things. If you wanna get real serious, you can build a crucifix or maybe a model set of Jerusalem, where Jesus lived. Most things have some good in it :)

No, you're not. You're a hellbound sinner, unless you've decided to abandon that child-molesting, Bible-ignoring, polytheistic cult you're in?

Do you?

Then, why aren't you using the Holy Bible to support your views?

How about obeying the Second Commandment instead of making any graven images?

Actually, you are.
Then, why aren't you using the Holy Bible to support your views?
I did, idiot. You have the brain of a piece of cheese.
Howw about obeying the Second Commandment instead of making any graven images?
Exactly, GRAVEN images. A graven image is something you make to replace God, or to worship instead of Him. When you use the LEGO bricks, you basically just make something and take it apart later, unlike Baal or some other freaky-looking gold pile. LEGOs are just toys, but an idol is much more serious because people actually worship them. A toy is just used for entertainment. By the way, PLEASE don't get started on that "entertainment is evil" crap. I have 2 biblical examples to prove my point: (if you want the books and numbers, go find 'em yourself, please)
Jesus would always help His foster father with his job, which in fact was carpentry. That's making images and statues. Jesus did it, so why can't we? Jesus never sinned.
Another example, I believe it was in exodus, but God told His people to decorate the Ark of the Covenant with statues on it. You're wrong. Period.

Dear Sinner,

I highlighted some of your sentences to assess them in more detail.

The first one is a simple tu quoque fallacy (one of the ad hominem attacks that is irrelevant to the actual matter we're trying to discuss). When you are criticized for something, the typical school ground response is the tu quoque: instead of discussing the issue, a counter-attack on the opponent's personality is launched. "You're stupid!" NO! You're stupid!" (<- this was you) Hence, a fallacy. Please try to learn some basic skills in civilized conversation.

Second, it would be nice to know where the "Jesus helped His foster father" argument derives from. If it is the Bible, please provide the verses and do not hide behind another lazy fallacy ("look it up yourself").

Instead of making futile counter-attacks it would really nice if you would be kind enough to assess some of the most pivotal questions that show the difference between Christianity and Catholicism.

The most important one is Jesus Christ. It is from the word "Christ" the name "Christianity" comes from. We worship Christ and are convinced that He is the only way to Salvation. I can, unlike the Catholics, also provide a verse to support this:

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Can you see! Only by Jesus is there a way to Heaven. Now, let us look at the Catholic catechism. It's your manual on how to worship. What does it think about the role of Jesus in salvation?
Quote:

"The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."
Please, explain how this is compatible with the verse above? If you can only get to God through Jesus, how can those who deny His divinity also go into Heaven? If you don't believe this, the better for you (but then you're not a Catholic, praise God!).

Now let us see what your supreme leader thinks about believing in God. First, the Bible:

Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Now the Catholic leader Frances:
Quote:

You ask me if the God of the Christians forgives those who don’t believe and who don’t seek the faith. I start by saying – and this is the fundamental thing – that God’s mercy has no limits if you go to him with a sincere and contrite heart. The issue for those who do not believe in God is to obey their conscience.
These are the things you should be assessing instead of jeering and petty attacks on other people's character. Please, take your time and consider these issues carefully. These two things alone confirm the notion that Catholicism is a new age cult not related to Christianity in any relevant manner any longer!

Yours in Christ,

Elmer :bye:

PS: Please, try to learn how to use the "quote" button, as well. It would make conversing with you much easier!

Um, since when were you in charge of me? I worship God, not zoology professors.

Re: Lego – The Building Block of Satan!

Some of the photos didn't load for me, but I know for a fact that the LEGO company never made towel heads, homosexual LEGO, and whore LEGO. The satan "Lego" was custom made by some collector dude, not the LEGO company. Look at it, the head has a funny-looking paint job, which the real LEGO company wouldn't sell. The towel head one is just a figure with random mashed up pieces from other sets, and the head towel is from LEGO: Ninjago which is a ninja series. And what's wrong with retarded people? They're human, just like us. But then again, the picture is probably edited. I guess if you don't like the Harry Potter one, which the majority of this website thinks is "evil"'even though it's just a movie, you could simply just not buy it. Millions of people enjoy the Harry Potter series, and that's why they made the LEGO version. Just because you draw a picture of Harry Potter doesn't automatically make you a "witch" The market IS for kids, as you said. Harry Potter was a children's series, maybe not for some Christian children, but many other children have the right to enjoy it. And as I said, all the other photos are edited, please do research next time, so you don't post something fake.
