$600/week Unemployment is Keeping People From Working

Congress passed a bill that gave states extra money for the unemployed. It extended unemployment payments for more months than the states previously paid. Congress thought it would help the states and those unemployed. Just the opposite is the case.

What happened was the unemployment rate stayed high. It stayed high because people are lazy--it was easier to stay unemployed and rake in $600 than it was to go to work.

Now the extra $600 is about to expire. Let's lobby for it to end so people can get back to work--we need to stop the free loading. Here in Freehold we have no $600 and no unemployed. Does Congress need more evidence than that?

Instead of getting free money, all these laid off people should go to work on farms. But no, the delicate ladies and effeminate men who were laid off their jobs at stores, restaurants, hair and nail salons, etc, prefer to get the free money rather than work in agriculture:

Quote:

CHICAGO - The novel coronavirus delayed the arrival of seasonal immigrants who normally help harvest U.S. wheat, leaving farmers to depend on high school students, school bus drivers, laid-off oilfield workers and others to run machines that bring in the crop.
As combines work their way north from the Southern Plains of Texas and Oklahoma, farmers and harvesting companies are having a hard time finding and keeping workers... [Editor's note: so there are two problems - some people sign up and quit, and some don't even bother to try.]
Josh Beckley of Beckley Harvesting Inc, based in Atwood, Kansas, typically counts on migrants for about 30% of his workers. The most common visa for migrant agriculture workers is the H-2A, which allows workers to stay in the United States for months at a time to work on farms.
This year, Beckley had no foreign laborers on his crew. He has struggled to find replacement workers, with many Americans unwilling to sign up for months of traveling through the U.S. farm belt.
“They called back and said, ‘Hey man, I just don’t think I should leave home with all this stuff going on,’” he said. [Editor's note: it probably was more like, "Hey man, my delicate hands are not suitable for actual work, I prefer to take some free money from the government!"]
Even the biggest farmers, who own their own equipment, were having trouble filling out their workforce with Americans...
If workers keep quitting, the wheat harvest in northern stretches of the Plains and the harvest of the fall crops could be at risk.
Here you have it. Jesus and Donald Trump have created ideal conditions to Make America Great Again. Jesus created the coronavirus, which allowed President Trump to close the borders. Therefore, now is the time for Americans to take our jobs back from foreigners. Since due to the coronavirus people are being laid off from other sectors of the economy, that means there's plenty of people who have nothing else to do than work in agriculture!

I say, no more free money for all these freeloaders. Round them up and send them to the fields! That's the best way to get rid of immigrants forever!

I will never understand why people prefer 600 for doing nothing than 300 for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. I mean, the first thing is communism!

Now that Ivanka Trump has set up a website to help everyone find a new career, the people who claim that they can't find a job don't have any more excuses.

Those "Marxist Trained" BLM and Antifa rioters like traveling all over the country rioting, toppling statues, looting, and burning things down. I say round them up and put them to work on the farms - plenty of fresh air (and little chance of contracting the Kung Flu). Stalin had all those collective farms - give these spoiled over educated soy people a taste of their future.

At least it highlights which jobs are not worth doing. And therefore not jobs at all. There's probably more than one person can imagine

We here in Freehold have a legitimate reason for opposing this weekly check sent to lazy people. Incomes in Freehold are substantially above the average in the U.S., probably in the world.

So, who is going to pay for these handouts? Those of us blessed by Jesus with high incomes, that's who. Why should the chosen ones give their money to those less worthy? This needs injustice to be stopped either in Congress or by Presidential veto.

I see the $1,200 stimulus and extra $600 in unemployment payments as a "seed fund", much like the parable Jesus told of the servants being given talents.

The first two servants double their talents, bringing their totals up to 10 talents, and 4 talents, respectively. The last servant buries the talent, keeping it safe for his master. When the master returns, he scolds the one servant. In this parable, talent could be seen as a representation of hard work and money.

Matthew 25: 26 "His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:"

Those that were wise took that stimulus money and invested it in the stock market, doubling their money and making Jesus and Trump happy. Those that were slothful and wicked took that gift and squandered it on rent and food.

Quote:

Matthew 25:29 " For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath."

Those that squandered their generous gifts on rent and food should not be given even more to squander, but instead should have what little they have taken away.

Like the talents, Jesus wants us to use the tools we have at our disposal to get even more. The stock market wasn't around back when Jesus walked the Earth but it is now. I'm sure this is how Jesus would have treated sick people if the stock market and privatized Healthcare, giving everyone the opportunity to make a tidy profit to cover their healthcare costs were around in His time:

Did the poor widow obsess over food and rent? No. She allocated 100% to The Temple. Jesus knew, of course, what future generations would say pumped full of commie propaganda. We have the answer.

Luke 21:1-4 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: for all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

No new revelation required. There are people however who claim to a greater authority than Christ. They have this pressing need to live in colossal mansions. Palaces, even. Unfortunately they DO claim new revelations and extort money from suckers they've brainwashed into delusion from birth to pay for the monstrosities. They even come up with NEW new revelations contradicting previous new revelations to keep the funding up to date because no-one with half a brain would swallow the old new revelation and it works! All such new revelations so far have contradicted what Jesus taught: does anyone get a refund? No.

Matthew 6:24-26 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

I never think about communism. It's always forcing current realities into outdated models.

You give people an inch, they'll take a mile, and Republicans are looking to yank that inch out of these losers hands faster than an obese man yanking a Double Whopper with cheese away from their server at a drive through.

It looks like freeloaders everywhere took that eviction moratorium and extra unemployment benefits as an opportunity to stiff their landlords on the rent and stop working.

Looks like these moochers need a cold hard reminder of what happens to deadbeats! Don't like working? Don't like paying rent? There's a bridge underpass with your name on it

..And the names of all your deadbeat neighbors too! Good luck not getting the covid-cooties. You'll need it, don't expect Jesus to be protecting you non-tax paying deadbeats ( Matthew 17:21–27 ).

All I can tell you is not a single employee of Hutchins Plantations, LLC has ever applied for or gotten unemployment. Why? Because I take care of my workers. They all get a roof over their hear, free transportation to the fields, three meals a day, Sundays off for praying. Every single one is given generous credit at the company store where they can buy boots, gloves, shovels and other items convenient to the housing coop. I do not think they would know what to do if they ever got any cash, probably buy alcohol and gamble it away. Not possible at the Plantation. I do run a lottery but the prize is socks. Worth over $5.00 a pair and each chance is just an hours labor. To keep it fair, I do not sell more than 100 tickets a week.:innocent:

Free money is always bad. Think of how hard Trump and his family have to work for their money. Everybody should have to work so hard.

I saw a picture of his helicopter the other day.

It didn't look like a bargain basement model.

Many people would like a helicopter.

But how many are prepared to put in the hours to get one?
