Lamentations 4:3 Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people [is become] cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.

While it may be the right way to feed your child, it is not a pleasant sight. The book of Lamentation describes it in such a vulgar way in order to keep this behavior private. At least that's how I see it.
