I assume "high functioning" autism is the type where the person puts their shoes on the correct feet more than 50% of the time.

Oh! That sort of "high" functioning. I'd expected some mathematical proficiency say to do statistics where data needs to be collated and assessed. It toulk me about 0.03 seconds to find a dictionary date for my word and it contradicted the high functioning claim. I stopped looking at that point because the claim had been refuted and once a claim is shown to be false I tend to disregard anything else from that source.
Unless I check every point as I go. Mostly they all prove unsubstantiated - at best.
