Sister I can confirm this is accurate from my own independent measurements of the velocity. They both travel at about the same speed through the sky so if the Sun was in an orbit so much farther away it would be traveling at a significant fraction of the speed of light. It would release Cerenkov radiation as it circled the Earth in a gravitational lock, losing energy and descending into the ocean within a matter of days. This obviously has not happened.
