Liberals have long criticized Freehold for it's Right To Smoke laws, about how we endanger people's health in our bars, restaurants, theaters, churches and nursing homes but this is about protecting Freedom. As Christians we have no time for paternalistic authorities telling us right and wrong, that is God's job.

That is right; there is cities in this country were you aren't allowed to smoke! Were if you light one up jackboated thugs hall you away to FEMA camps never to be seen again. This should utterly disgust any Christian with their constant intrusion into what we can and can't do. It makes Jesus weep.
What's next wants they take the freedom to smoke away? They going to ban hedge fund derivative traders? Shadow bankers? Think tank hacks? Sure these thing all bad for you but these people have RIGHTS and RIGHTS are what American and Jesus are ABOUT!
As Withman points out here it is a short step from forcing cigarettes out of Americans mouths to forcing savings down Americans throats. How will this country be the Republic the Founding Fathers dreamed about when we aren't allowed to go into debt two to three times our net worth on the chance we might win the lottery some day?
We have rights in the this county and that means we have the right to blow our money in some complex stock scheme just as much as we have the right so smoke our self into throat cancer. So say "nyet" to socialism and keep your social safety net away from me, I want my cigarette.
