There are no verses having no other verses directly correlating. If you have noticed I always include the fullest context for all Bible texts. Can you think of a reason why I'd do that?
This is not a science class. Satan controls everyone from infancy. Jesus offers an escape, a very costly escape from the everlasting pain and torture we deserve. Are born deserving. And most people get what they deserve. Jesus died to break the power of sin and we can accept His loving offer. Most people would rather stay vile, filthy things. Nothing changes for them. The Bible explains that only Christians are set free from the just outcomes of being born, and conceived in, the most abominable filth; outcomes like agony, wailing, torment in smoke while being gassed with no prospect of ever getting used to it. Satan cops it too. Up until you accept your own worthlessness and the unique opportunity offered by Jesus you remain enslaved. Satan is in charge as The Bible explains very well
