Adam was made in the image of God.—.the woman was made from Adam's rib later on.—.and God was happy with what He had made.


CREATION DAY 6
Genesis 1:27,31; 2:1
God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.….And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.….Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.


Satan got busy. After naming all the animals and deciding he didn't fancy any of them for "companionship" Adam remained in a sinless condition. Satan knew that God would need to do something about that and sure enough He did. This would also be on Day Six. The details are recorded as follows:


STILL DAY 6
Genesis 2:20-23
Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.


Satan deceived the woman, a sin so severe that punishment of four or even ten generations was insufficient. All babies are now born vile as a result, deserving of torture. The Bible is very clear on this point.


OLD TESTAMENT
Psalm 58:3
The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

NEW TESTAMENT
Romans 3:10-11
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: there is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.







The Bible establishes that [A] the wicked are born wicked and [B] everyone is wicked from birth. But God found the humans He created to be very good. Something had gone wrong to produce humans that are all born wicked, to corrupt the image of God in which Adam was created. This takes many forms and The Bible addresses one of them in Judges. It relates to war. Or more specifically a latent desire for peace. The Bible includes a very clear example of what happens then.


PEACE
Judges 18:1-28 (excerpt)
The tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day all their inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Israel. And the children of Dan sent of their family five men from their coasts, men of valour.….to spy out the land.….The five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and there was no magistrate in the land, that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no business with any man.….And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them: for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and.….when ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God hath given it into your hands; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth. And there went from thence of the family of the Danites.….six hundred men appointed with weapons of war.….and came unto Laish, unto a people that were at quiet and secure: and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire. And there was no deliverer, because it was far from Zidon, and they had no business with any man.

WAR
Judges 2:20b – 3:3
[God speaking] Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice; I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died: That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not. Therefore the LORD left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua. Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan; only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof.







God created Adam in His own image. God's nature is described throughout The Bible. Sin corrupted the image of God in all humanity, such as the Zidonians who seem to have had a calm and peaceful existence. God wiped them out.

God did not exterminate absolutely everyone in The Promised Land because the Israelites were [C] certain to revert to wickedness, disregarding God and [D] that means getting fancy notions about peace and harmony with all nations.

God is a man of war. How would His promise be fulfilled if the Danites were sitting around like the Zidonians having not a care in the world? Who would exterminate the denizens of Laish occupying territory promised by God to Abram Isaac and Jacob and their descendants? Land which God had specifically pointed out? They would not have been able to do so.
