You are missing the point. Oblivion is dangerous; Bob's gun shop is not. The reason being is that everyone who purchases firearms from him (and I highly recommend it, I got a nice Colt .357 Magnum revolver from him last month) is that we are all good, decent, moral True Christians™ who only use our guns for hunting, target-shooting, collection, or self-defense.

On the other hand, many of the players of Oblivion are depressed and neurotic teenagers who have difficulty understanding reality. The game really affects them psychologically and they react by becoming Satanists, or killing cats like that one kid in Florida, or at the worst: School shootings. Remember the Virginia Tech shooter? He was obsessed with Counter-Strike.
