Can we pause for a moment and think about the particular focus some forms of Christianity have in worship. Take for instance Rome's almost obsessive worship of an image of an almost naked man nailed to a cross by his father. If we accept one form of trinitarian theology this constitutes a form of sado-masochism as we are asked to believe God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost are one. Add to this the assertion the Creator gave humanity free will and accept God's omniscience and we're left with some very disturbing moral questions.
My main point though is to ask is there anything about particular forms of worship and their imposition on young minds that could be not only attracting pedophiles to the priesthood but inducing thoughts of father/son abuse as justifiable in the long term.

Your points are well thought out and decent about the Catholic Church. The naked man they worship is making the priests gay.
