And you know how much of a challenge such a hike is to a smoker.
Can you believe that North Salem has also passed an ordinance making it illegal to burn plastics in town? "Oh, the smoke is toxic," they whine. "It makes people sick, gives them cancer. Send that stuff to the recycling center instead of burning it. You're right next door to the grocery store and across from Jameson's outdoor cafe, for crying out loud!"
Makes people sick? Disturbs their dinner? Makes their produce smell funny?
What about my right to burn my garbage at the parsonage?

I hear you Revered and AMEN!
It is the non smokers who have been suckered by the slick propaganda of the anti-tobacco lobby who are ruining it for all of us. Just because you don't like something some else is doing doesn't give you to the right to harass those people. Just look at us Christians; we do not go around judging people "evil", hounding them in the streets and passing laws to persecute them.
