The mingling of the races is NOT prohibited in Scripture! That is an old wives tale. Jews were banned from marrying Canaanites because they were pagans. Not because of the color of their skin or because of where they lived.
What Scripture DOES say is that we are not to be in a relationship with unbelievers.
2 Corinthians 6:14
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
