During my trip to Canada I visited Buffalo.
Even in Canada fast food restaurants were CROWDED with overweight persons eating like they're having their last meal. (but I must recognize burgers tasted great!)

Buffalo was roughly the same...

I've never seen so many homeless persons and obese persons in my life (I live in France)
