Luke 14:26
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
Everyone goes to
Hell by
default. Only by accepting
Jesus Christ and following in His footsteps (Ecclesiastes 12:13) can
Heaven be attained. Words and lyrics that fail to praise
Jesus are
distractions.
1 Corinthians 7:35
And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
We've been through this before. You should
not fall into distractions. Based on the verse above it is a
sin. Based on the
Bible that sin is as bad as rape, murder, or wanton genocide that has not been called by
Jesus.
James 2:10
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
We (and perhaps you if you
Repent) still have plenty of time (=Eternity) to be happy in
Heaven!
Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
