Secular historians claim Egyptian chronology disproves the Bible. They seem to think we should blindly believe a collection of pseudo-historical books written in the Middle East thousands of years ago despite the following glaring omissions:
- Joseph saving the Egyptians from starvation
- The enslavement of the Israelites
- The Ten Plagues, including the death of Pharaoh's eldest son
- The Exodus
Egyptian chroniclers also neglected to mention the Great Flood. Apparently Egyptian civilisation somehow carried on as if it never even happened! The people at Answers in Genesis have a
helpful table showing the discrepancies between Egyptian chronology and Biblical chronology.
Egyptologists even claim the pyramids were built before – and survived – the Flood. But, as AiG reminds us, "The pyramids do not come with labels declaring their dates." Like evolutionism, Egyptologism crumbles when exposed to the light of God's word.
