Instead they have to use those pea-shooter M-16s to try to take down insurgents at 500 yards and it doesn't work. Then when they catch a bunch of them in a house and dust 'em, someone tries to put them on trial!
This is a TRUE STORY: Marines in Iraq have to carry gunpowder residue kits with them. If they take fire from a house, they have to test everyone in the house and arrest only the people with fresh powder on their hands. So the Iratis cover their hands with the burkhas the women are wearing so no one has any residue on their hands. The Marines find the guns, but can't do anything else.
