I've just finished selecting fabric for the next season's collection and was puzzled and horrified to see this "garment" (
not one of my designs) comprising a washed out sort of print—distressed I think it's called—well sequinned with revolting fake fur in hues no animal would be seen alive in which reminded me of your post.
Upon reflection, there may be some radioactive carcasses that look like that. I do not personally wear radioactive pelts. Others may be less discriminating.
