appears to be in compliance with Leviticus 20:13, this is mere coincidence. What they have done is introduce their own, made-up Mussulman criminal law, which is quite a different matter.
We know that God must be quite cross about this - Exodus 19:5 is very clear on the question: it is
His voice that we must obey, and this applies as much to Brunei as it does to us: as He says to Moses, all the Earth is
His. If He meant to exclude Brunei, He would surely have said so.
