What about slide shows? I've seen some quite good "magic lantern" displays but, considering the age of such devices, the material is very unlikely to be original. It would be possible to make new glass slides with moving elements to highlight the pitfalls facing Christians today, in fact that would be an interesting project, and the lanterns are still available. They don't really wear out, being of solid brass construction.
There is always a downside where technology's involved. In this case it's demons. Whether or not a magic lantern is used to explain Scripture or as a visual aid to get The Message across, other applications exist and remain available. Because of the traditional pigments and non-electric light sources employed for effects lighting, a very intense phantasmagoria can be achieved to heighten the psychedelic experience so beloved of demons. And the hardware is not difficult to find. Around the 1 minute mark in the clip [above] an example is shown. Here are two stills.
The lens [left] projects a spinning roundel [right] onto the wall, psychedelic efforts tending not to have screens, in this example two glass slides rotated for a kaleidoscope effect. An alternative is to sandwich two round glass slides together and dribble intense pigments down between them as they rotate. This is what opens minds to demonic ideas, in an enclosed room, everyone "on the stuff" hallucinating wildly and eager to become human screens standing in front of the magic lantern looking groovy.
Would using a magic lantern set up with Bible slides (whether antique or newly made and considering that when looking for supplies this psychedelic stuff is the most likely to be found) be a benefit for The Ministry? Or would the risk of curiosity about sandwiched oil-wheels and vivid dyes be too great, considering how demons found such easy ingress to souls by way of minds transfixed with the vibrant and dynamic display? I hope my question is not out of place.
