Tell us, how many children does he have already - boys or girls and how old are they? I took on three
stepdaughters aged 4, 2 and 1 when I married, in (only very vaguely) similar circumstances to your own. They were frankly a bit of a nuisance, but fortunately they were well provided for financially and there was no difficulty in arranging early marriages for them.
