Btw: as an atheist taxpayer, I heartily endorse your idea to let God take care of His own damaged building! Let that billion+ dollars pledged so far be used much more effectively elsewhere (like actually accomplishing something that so much prayer has been thrown at, to NO effect, maybe ending war, poverty, a disease or three? spitballin' here, ideas welcome).
