Amos 3:6-7 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
We have seen that it's always God sending plagues. We looked this up in The Bible. There are people who say The Bible is false teaching and that God may as well not exist at all if everything we know about Him is demonstrably false in the only source material we have about Him. They say that genetic engineers made Wuhan plague but seem to run out of ideas about then. I am not making that claim but could continue without batting an eyelid where they leave off, thusly from the wicked lair of Professor Virus [right] a swarm of clockwork bats, indistinguishable from the real thing if using echo location, issued forth. Guided by the worst possible form of radar and dribbling clockwork viruses across the earth they raged. Where should they land? And how could we know when they had? What little signs ought we look for? But clockwork is not always reliable. Imagine how much tension (in the spring) would be needed for a clockwork car to travel just 100 miles! And imaging driving one when the spring broke!! But this is no clockwork car, this is a trillion clockwork bats. I'd like to include the word radioactive but that's enough red herring for the time being.
The Bible is absolutely explicit on this. Everyone who thinks plagues are evil must accept that God created this one or reject The Bible (remember, plagues are promised well beyond Old Testament times so none of this has lapsed) and that means rejecting Jesus. After all, if The Bible is false what evidence is there for Christ? Perhaps growing two heads one for reality and one for everything else, who knows, that could help. I'm quite happy with just the one however and will continue to post Scripture so that we can see what's really going on – Professor Virus notwithstanding.
Why does God do evil? Remember, not my idea, this is what God has explained Himself. Unless you've made up something "better" but so far I prefer the clockwork bats. It's not the first time God has resolved to send evil and the reason is always the same. Failure to follow what He has commanded and rejecting His Perfect Love. Check out the consistency here:
Jeremiah 26:3-5 If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings. And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you, to hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened
