Your testimony is very powerful, Pastor Bathfire. I also remember the curious case of little Johnny P., whose skin and eyes turned yellow - how funny it was at Sunday services to joke that his mom watched too many Jackie Chan movies!
Mr. and Mrs. P.'s parental rights were revoked and Johnny became a ward of the state, after they were caught trying to smuggle Johnny to a hospital in Des Moines.
I distinctly remember the beautiful eulogy Pastor Ezekiel Flint delivered for Johnny. It was so sobering: how Jesus decided to punish Mr. and Mrs. P. for their sins, through Johnny's death. It all could have been avoided if only they trusted in God, rather than in Western medicine. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen them around, since. They probably realized that as hellbound sinners they had no business in Freehold anymore.
