There are all sorts of ways to prosper and not starve or freeze. The usual method is money in the bank. This is material prosperity.

Another type of prosperity would be prosperity of the soul. That means a good relationship with Jesus Christ who is God. Then He won't dump us into hell. The wording in John's epistle addresses BOTH of these. NOT JUST ONE. BOTH.
III John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health
THIS IS THE FIRST TYPE OF PROSPERITY. MATERIAL PROSPERITY.
THE KEYWORD IS HEALTH, WHICH DERIVES FROM ADEQUATE FOOD,
SHELTER, WARMTH AND RECREATION.
even as thy soul prospereth.
THIS IS THE OTHER TYPE OF PROSPERITY. PROSPERITY OF THE SOUL,
WHICH DERIVES FROM WALKING IN THE TRUTH. THE TRUTH MEANS
WHATEVER AGREES WITH THE BIBLE.
III John 1:3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
The blue word shows cause and effect from verse 2.
That verse doesn't mean to say get lots and lots of money. Prospering is meant in a spiritual sense and means a non materialistic way to prosper.


We have no need for money where we are going. All of the materialistic stuff of the world will not last for ever. God is eternal money is not.


The main thing prosperity preachers do is worship money not God. They dont care about God and by the way the IRS is investigating alot of people who preach the prosperity gospel because they are involved in criminal activities like stealing and money laundering which are sins


The prosperity gospel does not mean anything spiritual it only means get more money
