Now here's a couple of gentlemen (I'm using the word in its loosest possible context) who look like they'd know about trains. But I can't say that it's had a very good effect. Similar to the millinery in OP there have been consequences for the head but in this case it's extended somewhat further. Why can't people just be normal? I have always enjoyed rail travel. Except for that time on a 3-day journey where in the cocktail bar people kept bumping into you so you'd go into the Hawaiian lounge but it was even worse. Can you imagine a journey where everyone looked like that? It's what they seem to want but then of course they wouldn't stand out and they be right back where they started.
