Amen, dear Brother Lukes! My mother went to teacher's college to become a teacher. But, back in those days, the standards were much higher and we didn't have all of this upsetting fuss that has infiltrated our education system since then. I've seen the deterioration in the quality of education throughout my career in education and libraries. And it's all because our politicians have slowly, but surely, removed prayer in the classrooms. When Mother was a teacher, she enjoyed the privilege of prayer, including praying for the President. And in those days, the disciplining of unruly students was much more effective, and easier to do, than it is today, and Mother did it according to Biblical principles.
Proverbs 23:13 "Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die."
That was one of Mother's favorite Bible verses, and one that never failed her, as you'll see in the attached photo where she is tending to an unfortunate hooligan. And as far as women attending college today, I do believe it's something that they should re-consider very carefully.
A blessed day to you, dear Brother Lukes,
Sincerely, Isabella W.
