Precisely. The ONLY reason for a Christian girl to attend college-- or any school, really--is to obtain the much vaunted MRS degree.
If more parents took on the direct responsibility of seeing to it that their daughters married educated, successful Christian men, there would be no need for a girl to college.
Honestly, what we need is a specific educational track called "wife school". Now, the True Christian™ mothers here at Landover Baptist Church already provide that form of instruction to their own daughters, but not every family is so conscientious. Thus, young woman who instinctively know that they need a high-earning, virtuous man in order to live a decent, secure life, sometimes head off to college thinking to find such fellows.
What they need to do is head off to church. If necessary, they can attend churches services near institutions of higher learning. When they meet a man there, they can find out what the man is studying and make discrete inquires regarding their potential income expectations.
