Hi .. Welcome to the forum.

There are different levels of being in any belief system. Sometimes people get bogged down with looking for ways around God's requirements. Jesus pointed out many such examples.

Luke 11:44-46 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also. And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

God explained how to avoid the burdens of sin and lust and despair. He is not constrained within time as we are but longs for us to be happy. Lusting after that new helicopter (and the pilot who flies it) or interpreting laws in such a way as to charge exorbitant fees or even making idiotic cattle idols (as the mormons do) or moon idols or hideous goblin idols and bowing down for them or burning incense or dunking yourself in them, this is what Jesus condemns. He is referring to The Law as explained by God which was intended to help us avoid everlasting torture, the torture we were all born deserving, and which includes many examples of what NOT to to. Jesus was never king of anyone taking a stance AGAINST those laws.

He expressly said so.

The "gay catechism" would be included because it stands against what God has explained. Are you suggesting that God is now CONSTRAINED within time and can change what He has declared on this subject? If that were so, why could He not change what He taught about Salvation? Murder? Idolatry?

If "the gays" no longer need to be killed, how do you know that "salvation" doesn't now require a great big goblin idol to be slobbered all over with the blood & brains of randomly selected strangers? This also contradicts what The Bible requires just as much as respecting everyone in their sexuality or religion.

If you're saying God changed His mind on these points, you need to present some sort of evidence. Making yourself believe the claims is evidence for the claims but not evidence that the claims are true.
