I had always accepted Kettemüller’s hypothesis that, following the Flood, the animals (who were able to breed like crazy thanks to God’s blessing )walked across the Bering Straits to America and the Red Sea parted for them again so they could get to Africa. This left only Australia.
You will recall that Kettemüller’s hypothesis required that all Australian animals were like Kangaroos, and they just skipped across the water to Australia.
However, this “Log Theory” seems to be a winner – I can see now a large tree with 30 or 40 Wombats on board being propelled to Australian and New Zealand by Jesus’s Love.
