I'll try, Brother. As a homeschooling mom, I'm used to editing for clarity. Perhaps this poster will learn a thing or two about writing.

Jeffrey was NOT a hero. He sinned like we all sin (Romans 3:23). He couldn't help his sin nature any more than I can help mine. He was powerless against the Enemy's control over his life. He needed redemption and he found it in Christ Jesus.
His conversion showed that he could've been a productive citizen and served the Lord. That's what sickens me the most and makes it so hard for me to forgive. The fact that he could've been a well-behaved, good-mannered, morally upright public servant and a man of God. Yet, he chose to take those poor young men's lives.
Now he decides to do right by the Lord after being in prison because it gave him time to think about what he did. We should probably just send people to church more and free up the jails for the negro drug gangs.
A lot of people feel absolutely no sympathy for Jeffrey Dahmer, but Jesus did, which is why he pre-sacrificed Himself for Dahmer's future (well, our past) sins.
And now that he has repented, apologized and meant it, you all let him off the hook and all of the sudden, he's okay in God's book, the Holy Bible (Isaiah 43:25).
