Oh, dear
, help us! I've just received a phone call from Agatha (my sister), to tell me that her friend, Penelope (in that
bound Toronto, Canada,) has read an article in one of the rags there, saying that drag queens are giving "curbside" drag shows, supposedly to support healthcare workers.
Now, what I do not understand is this: how on Earth do any of these abominable acts help the over-worked healthcare workers? And, why should decent,
-fearing citizens have to put up with these noise-making, "curbside" shows which are, obviously, designed to have a terrifying impact on the community? These are taking place at 7.30 pm, which means that many of the young kiddies are still up by then, and they will be subject to this abusive treatment!
I will include a link to the article (which includes video clips) that Penelope was mentioning, along with a photo below; although, I suggest not looking at the picture until at least one hour after you've had your dinner. Goodness, it's put me right off my scones and tea.
