It very well COULD have been the governor in the picture. If it was, WHO CARES? It’s just an excuse for darkies to get all upset that a white man wanted to try to look like them (as if that’d really happen). On an unrelated note, I can proudly recall a story where me and some friends re-enacted the arrest of Malcom X. I played a female bystander and can attest that getting shoe polish off your face afterwards is hard to do. If this governor really did try to blackface, I am sure it can only help him as it did for Paula Deen and ONE of her sons.
