Sister, when I look at the schedule of vaccinations "offered" to children in the Disunited Kingdom of England vs. The Rest, it fills me with horror!
Quote:
8 weeks 6-in-1 vaccine; Rotavirus vaccine; MenB
12 weeks 6-in-1 vaccine (2nd dose); Pneumococcal (PCV) vaccine; Rotavirus vaccine (2nd dose)
16 weeks 6-in-1 vaccine (3rd dose); MenB (2nd dose)
1 year Hib/MenC (1st dose); MMR (1st dose); Pneumococcal (PCV) vaccine (2nd dose); MenB (3rd dose)
2-10 years Flu vaccine (every year!!!)
3y 4m MMR (2nd dose); 4-in-1 pre-school booster (N.B. 4-in-1 of what is not explained)
12-13 y HPV vaccine
14 years 3-in-1 teenage booster (also not explained); MenACWY

They then pretty much leave people alone until they are 65 years old, when the few who have survived are too feeble (from childhood vaccinations) to resist.
I don't even know what most of those are. Suffice it to say that the only needles stuck into
my children have been the result of sibling horseplay and so far none of them has murdered anyone - at least, not to my knowledge.
Thank you, Brother Mr. Mayor, Sir, for your helpful link. I find graphs and the like difficult to understand, but will ask one of the older boys to talk me through it.
