Oh yes indeed. The renegade Hebrews had gotten so out of control into sin when God came to earth in human form that they literally thought they could murder God. That's what the Sanhedrin (the Elders of Zion) thought, that by murdering Jesus Christ they would cause God to die, and then they could go on living their sinful, debauched lives without fear of having to "do the time" as Mayor Hold put it. His earthly sojourn as a flesh and blood man appeared to be their chance to erase God from existence, like shooting a cop at a traffic stop. This is the moment when Judaism was founded as a heretical schismatic offshoot of Christianity, named in honor of their patriarch Judas Iscariot, who was the first Jew. Though they claim today that Jesus was not the Messiah, what they actually believe is that they in fact killed God, so now they can do whatever they want without going to Hell. "God is dead and we killed him" is the proud boast of Jewish theology. They're wrong, and there's probably an extra hot place in Hell for all the Jews.
