On the note of God and Satan.
If Satan were truly to exist, would he not exist as a minion of the divine?
I say this because if Satan, in his Stygian wrath, were the source of all evil in this world and diametrically opposed to God and all good, and in response Heaven was opposed to Satan and all Evil.... then why would God, as an all powerful being, allow Satan to exist?
Why would God allow a being that wishes only to destroy his faithful to exist and tempt them away from the righteous path?
If you say these are trails to test our faith, then doesn't that mean Satan is working for God?
I would LOVE , seriously, to hear some response to this as it is actually something I wonder about.
And please, for your own sakes, don't boil everything I say down to "I'm just the devil's mouthpiece trying to lead you all astray". I'm a legitimate heathen (in your eyes) looking for some truth in this religion you claim to be the highest of high.
