Re: Leviticus 24:16 Don't Blaspheme or I'll Have to Kill You -

Brother, thanks for reminding people about Leviticus, one of the most overlooked books in the Bible.
All Leviticus is a marvellous chant about life and death, and how God says some people deserve death, while observing the "thou shalt not kill" sentence.
Some people really do not understand this, and like you, they think is a contradiction. But they do not have God on their side, as you have, so they become atheists, or mormons, or other demonic affections.
It is simple, if you think about it. You should not kill, but let God sort it out. So you cannot kill someone because of a minor disagreement. For example, if someone kills your entire family, you are not allowed by God to kill the killer. No, you must obey God's and your land's laws and turn him to the authorities.
Romans 12:19 - Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
On the other hand, if you find a man lying with a man, the Bible says they both should be killed. That is a big offense; even if is not of your business. Of course it is not of your business, it is God's business!!! But the Bible says you have to obey the law of the land as well, so it says you should but you cannot kill them.
Main insight here: You cannot kill because of your business, God is the one that kills.
It is logic, after all: who better than God to know who shall or not be killed, as He is the creator of everyone and everything.
DISCLAIMER: if the country you live in does not allow to kill homos, you should:
1) refrain from killling homos
2) actively pray for Biblical law
3) actively donate to politicians promoting Biblical law
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
