I don't see any issue there worth resigning over. It's just business and negotiation. So what if the Vice President of Australia is secretly talking to wealthy Russians and promising government contracts in exchange for electoral advantages? That's how the sausage is made.

I'd be pleased if our Greatest President Trump were talking secretly to Russians without any records taken or even any other Americans present. I'm sure the Russians didn't take secret videos of these meetings, why would they? Probably very dry and boring like watching 3D Chess. Way too complicated for us to understand.
