It was YOU, Brother Mr. Mayor, who made handouts illegal in Freehold and denying residence to those who were unwilling to work, while limiting residence applications only to prospects with "more than comfortable incomes." It was YOU, Brother Mr. Mayor, who took a bold Christian stance against welfare even before you became mayor, working to shut down Des Moines area shelters and preach a prosperity gospel in the world of politics.
